UEE42611 – Cert IV in Hazardous Areas is a Qualification where Electrical Equipment for Hazardous Areas (EEHA) is a skill set of competencies, with an extra four units of competency are added called Gap Training.

The gap delivery is a gap assessment covering the supervision skills of;
Energy sector report writing;
Developing a personal competency plan;
Implementing and monitoring energy sector policies and procedures for environmental and sustainable work practices.
If you hold a current Electrical License you will be awarded a credit transfer for the units that you have completed as part of your trade certificate.

Pre-requisites:
This course is only open to those who have completed the EEHA Installation and Maintenance of Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas course which needs to be have been completed within the last 3 years (otherwise a refresher course is required to be completed) also you must be a holder of a current Australian electrical or instrumentation license.
You will be required to provide a copy of your completed Electrical Equipment for Hazardous Areas Statement of Attainment and Electrical Licence.

This qualification is done in two stages; once the EEHA Component is completed you complete the Cert IV in Gap Training, which will give you the Cert IV in Hazardous Areas – Electrical qualification.
